U2 + Green Day = Goodness

Scant time today, but I at least wanted to bring up "The Saints Are Coming," a Katrina charity single from U2 and Green Day. I'm happy to report that it sounds more like "October"-era U2 than current, bloated U2. I credit Green Day's influence.

Here's the video. What do you think?

Seeing as how my husabnd is a New Orleans native, any mention of Katrina and emotion overflows. I love this song and all that it stands for - I love anything associated with NOLA.
When they performed this at the first Monday Night Football game in the Superdome, I was moved to tears.

Thanks, Brooke, for posting that. I like this song, too, but it's really moving to remember that for some people, it can represent much more than just the latest hit on the radio.
